GWO Manual Handling Refresher (MHR) – also known as Manual Handling Refresher.
- Aim: Reviews correct techniques for lifting, carrying, and handling loads to prevent musculoskeletal injuries in wind turbine environments.
- Duration: Typically 4 hours (half-day), including theoretical and practical assessments.
- Certificate Validity: 24 months (2 years); uploaded to the GWO WINDA database.
- Prerequisites: Valid (or recently expired) MH/MHR certificate, valid WINDA ID, minimum age 18, good physical health.
- Why Mandatory: Integral part of BSTR Onshore/Offshore – without a valid certificate, access to turbines is prohibited.
It is the shortest refresher module in the BST package.
